Has anyone had a good experience ordering checks from somewhere other than the bank?  Just thought I'd see before I order 120 for $22.  I am not sure what a good deal is on checks.  Thanks. :)

Re: Ordering Checks

  • I actually just ordered some from Walmart.com back in January.  They're simple but nice and do the job.  They were also half the price of ordering through my bank.

Thanks!  Yeah, I remember my parents rarely ordered them through the bank so I knew there were some other options. Thank you!

I got 150 checks for $10.29 shipped. Whoo! Thanks again.
  • That's awesome!  So much cheaper than going through the bank, and I felt comfortable with the way they received your account information.

  • I paid about $12 bucks through my credit union. I compared to a few non bank options but my CU had the best deal. They also provide me with security features I'm not sure I could get elsewhere. I'm given a "dummy" account number on my checks which my bank then routes to my actual account.

I tend to use checks unlimited.  I have used them multiple times and have had no problems at all.  The more boxes you buy the better the deal.  You also have a wide choice of checks to chose from.
