Baby Bear is Here!!
LB couldn't get logged in to post updates as they happened, so here's everything!
5/30 - 2 a.m: She got checked into L&D. The nurse said she was around 3 cm dilated (her doc had told her 4 that morning).
5/30 - 8 a.m: Pitocin started and she was having some contractions, but nothing too crazy.
5/30 - 12 p.m: Doc broke her water around 11 a.m. and she was walking around hoping to make some further progress
5/30 - 6 p.m: She'd been on the highest dose of pitocin since about 1 p.m. and finally got her epidural.
And after a long over night wait...
**5/31 - Bernard "Bear" Bruce Jr. is born at 5:25 a.m. (after 26 hours of labor!) weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and measuring 20 inches!!**
Mama and baby are doing well. She's very happy, and probably resting and getting something to eat finally (she said she was exhausted and hungry in her final update!)
Welcome to the world Bear!! I'll let @amccul20 update with pics and details when she's ready.
