QOTD 6/4

Thunderstorms - are you a "let's go outside and watch them" or a "let's go hide under the bed" person?

Re: QOTD 6/4

  • I used to LOVE them but for some reason, since I've had children they freak me out Lol I think it may be the thought of the angel care monitor going off if there were a power outage.
  • Love them.  And Indiana gets a LOT of them.  The only bad time was when a tornado came within like 50 feet of my high school, that was very scary.  Nothing like priests and nuns praying over you while a funnel cloud barrels your way to scare the crap out of ya.

I don't really freak out but I need to know exactly what is happening at all times.  I don't feel safe during a storm unless I have the warnings up on the TV.  DH hates it because he doesn't worry at all.
  • I love watching them but haven't done that in a while. If it's really bad, then I need to watch the weather channel to make sure nothing worse is coming

  • I don't really care about storms unless H or I is driving in one.  I do get concerned about he aftermath of some storms...like downed power lines, trees falling across the road, etc.

  • I love thunder storm! I don't want to be out in it... But I'll watch them from inside. Ah nothing like reading during a tstorm.

If there's a tstorms at night, I'll dream of work because we have a lot of booms.

  • I love watching them from inside. I especially being in bed during a nice, dark, thunderstorm. I get nervous when there's tornado threats (with good reason!!) but only when H gets nervous since he's the weather nerd.

  • Used to not mind them so much. Now, I just wind up having an uneasy feeling the entire time

  • I love them as long as I am inside. Nice to be all cozy in bed watching one. If it starts interfering with my sleep then we have some problems since I'm barely getting enough as it is lol
  • I like to be home.  I enjoy watching the storms, but living in a basement makes that difficult.  The house has an enclosed porch with giant windows, so I'll be able to sit out and watch all the thunderstorms that I want :)
