Now that the school year is over, I'm sure you probably don't want to talk about anything work related, but... I was curious to know your thoughts on the new "Common Core" Standards? Truthfully, I need to read a little more to decide how I feel about it. However, I work with kids with 504 Plans and IEP's in the medical setting, and have heard a few comments in passing (mostly families expressing distaste for them), but I was curious to know how teachers feel about it.

Anyways, I don't know much about common core being a music teacher. But if the changes our district has gone through this year have anything to do with CC then I think it sucks.
