Re: Friday, woo!!!!

  • I'm so excited for Orange Is the New Black!! We might have to sign up for a netflix trial this afternoon.

I don't think we have any plans otherwise this weekend. We were planning to go to Chicago tomorrow, but now DH wants to wait until next month and go to Detroit/Windsor instead for a Queen concert.

  • Tonight is sleep catch up because I've slept through my alarm the past two days yet still feel exhausted.

Tomorrow morning I'm playing a mental patient at a disaster drill for my dads hospital. Not sure what it entails other than getting up wayy too early. Then my B and SIL are in town with my twin nephews. Boys are going to the air show, girls are doing girly things yet to be determined.

Sunday is trail walk/run with SIL in the morning and then probably laundry.

Nothing too exciting here but after last weekend, I'll take it!
  • Tonight - Go for an hour/hour and a half hike after work.  Then home, dinner and relax.

Saturday - DH is working, I'll be home cleaning, laundry and go to the grocery store.

Sunday - We are going to a baptism for our friends twins.  Church is at 9:30 a.m., followed by get together/lunch.  Not sure what time we will be home, but I am guessing we won't be doing anything else that day.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    Good luck @sweetpotato123 and @oceanhutt!

I'm working from home today.  DH is leaving for an Army course later this morning; he'll be gone for 10 days.  My parents are arriving this evening and staying with me for 10 days.  I'm excited to spend the time with them!

Tomorrow we have the dog's annual vet appointment, so I'll be dropping a pile of cash there. We don't really have plans for the rest of the day.  If it's nice we'll go to a Farmers Market or something.

Sunday I'm taking my parents out for dinner for Mothers Day and Fathers Day combined.

I took Monday off and I need to go to the mall and get my eyebrows and chin threaded.  I'd rather avoid the mall on the weekend :)

  • Happy Friday, ladies!!!

This weekend DH and I are having a tag sale. The weather is supposed to be beautiful, so I hope a lot of people stop by and buy our crap. I'm really excited to get rid of everything and if we could make a few bucks that would be awesome.  Afterwards hopefully our pool will finally be warm enough for a swim.

Also, it will be our first weekend alone in about two months... as long as DSS actually stays with his mom the whole weekend like he's supposed to... so I'm really looking forward to it being just me and DH.

  • I plan on kicking my ass back into workout mode! I woke up early this morning and couldn't bring myself to exercise at all. So tonight I am starting it up again.
It is supposed to be 85 and sunny all weekend, I plan on filling the kiddy pool and lounging on the deck with my pup for as long as I can!

Sunday my girlfriend and her new boyfriend are coming over for a BBQ.

Not much, hopefully a relaxing weekend. I need to do at least two days of C25K because I've fallen behind due to traveling.

  • Good luck @sweetpotato123 and @futuremrswright2012!!!

Today is FREE DOUGHNUT DAY!! There's a Krispy Kreme several blocks from my office I'm going to head to at lunch time to grab a freebie from.
And then I'm hitting up the Dunkin when I get home from work for another freebie with a drink (going with a coolatta). No shame here!

Tomorrow, I'm getting the niggling thought that our street-wide yard sale is happening, but I've done ZERO prep for that. I need to figure it out so I can throw a bunch of crap out there tomorrow morning and see if anyone will take it.
If it's NOT tomorrow, I might spend the morning with the rest of the ILs going to do this year's Tour de Cure (I would be riding, but not with this belly). Between DH's and my families, we have a lot of people close to us with either type 1 or 2 diabetes.
DH is scheduled to work tomorrow afternoon, but he's trying to get out of it because he really wants to go to an airshow or something that's taking place.

Sunday, no plans! Probably the usual floor cleaning and laundry routine.

I'm heading out from work in a few. I was supposed to leave at 11 but we had a severe issue with something in our facilities so I got stuck. My head is pounding. Tonight I'm going to have a weigh-in celebration glass of wine with my YaYas.

Tomorrow morning I'm up early to try to get tickets for Tom Petty. Then the rest of the weekend is going to be pretty low key. Gym, shake, clean, sleep, repeat. And that's fiiiiine by me! :-)

Work at the library tomorrow, and it's the first day of the summer reading program.  It is going to be crazy and the library will be a mess and I'm probably going to come home crabby!

  • Tomorrow AM I'm taking DS to his tots Spanish class, probably some randomness in the afternoon, maybe a run, before hitting up some dinner fundraiser for local kiddos music programs. Hoping to be lazy Sunday morning because I have to work in the afternoon/evening. Praying I don't have to go in to the clinic until after dinner. Wife is getting around slightly better but should still be resting as much as possible. Maybe I'll make dinner before I go so she doesn't have to worry about it.
  •  Today: We are going to a graduation open house in the afternoon and then to our favorite restaurant tonight to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary...and I plan to get a little drunk.

Sunday: Going away dinner for my friend and her family.
