  • My friend and I started our diet/work out routine together.  I am pushing myself extra hard so I can "win."   So far its working.

  • My MIL sent back the cash we left on the table for her when we walked out last week.  I will be placing it in an envelope (contemplating not putting a return address on it) and sending it back.  I will win this battle of bitch-fits - I promise.

And it's taking everything in me not to call her a bitch to DH.  So far, so good...
  • We are moving in mid-August. We'll be bout 4.5 hours from Wife's family...pretty sure that is going to within my leave radius. I love her family (Back when we were in Boston and 20 mins from them. I would occasionally hang with MIL when wife was out if town) and will love to see my nephews and nieces more, but I anticipate her wanting to drive up there 2 or more times a month. That's going to cut into the amazing wife and son weekends I've been enjoying since we moved last fall. Not to mention being stuck in a car for 9 hours most weekends with wife glued to her phone and littleman shouting about being hungry the entire trip.
  • My neighbor was watering the plants shirtless and I checked him out for a second through the window.

  • @flamingo86 I must confess that I often wish I was that neighbor. It's nice to feel desired every once in awhile. Then again I rarely take my shirt off or have the build to warrant such looks. Don't know why but I feel compelled to also mention I not taking my shirt off isn't because of the hobbit comment the other day. Crazily the hobbitness only applies to my arms, legs, hands, and feet. I think that was just a TMI confession.

Coming from someone who has in law drama, this seems very immature and petty.  You will win the battle of bitch fits by no longer engaging in the bitch fits. You are not 13, even if the other person is acting as such.

  • @Aimothy‌ - I know the mature thing would be to not sending it back but it's hard whenever she complains that we don't help her, don't care about her, and don't pay for anything but then refuses our help. If we wouldn't send it back, we'd be labeled more greedy and self centered than she already believes we are. Hi rock, hi hard place....
  • I agree with Aim. This doesn't seem like a battle that can be won. I'm sorry she is causing so much drama.
