Re: QOTD 6/9

  • Nope! I've been cell phone only since I left college.

  • Yes, but we never use it.  It made our cable and internet cheaper to have the phone.
  • Nope.  I lived with my family until I got married and we had a home phone there.  H used to have a personal cell phone as well as a work cell, but he cancelled his personal one and uses the work one for everything (the company allows that). So we just use our cells as phones. It's way cheaper since we only have to pay for mine...I think it's about $40 a month.

  • Nope we only have our cells. Between school work and placement I am never home so it's always been easier to reach me on my cell anyways. And we bundled my cell phone with cable/internet so we could get a discount.

  • Nope I haven't had a land line since college.

  • I think we have a phone number but I have no idea what it is and we don't have a phone hooked up. I think when the cable company installed our stuff, a phone line was included. H pays the cable think so I really have no clue!

  • We have a phone number, but nothing hooked up to it. It just gives us a cheaper cable/internet bill.

  • Nope. H and I just have our cell phones. Although from what it sounds like, I'm missing out on a great deal having a house line bundled with my TV/internet.

  • Yes.  I don't give out my cell phone number for anything, I only give my house phone.
  • For years we had used a Magic Jack number (yes people actually use that lol) that we transported from our apt to my inlaws and then to our home when we bought. Just recently H got rid of that and we now have 2 lines at the house, he works for the cable company and they offered them free. No idea why we need one let alone two but Hs answer was " I can use it to fax" (we don't have a fax machine :-)
  • Nope. When we had comcast we had a phone line because it was cheaper, but now we get cable/internet through our electric service and it's not cheaper to bundle. They don't do bundle deals because their prices stay the same all the time. I HATE comcast.

  • Yes, but we don't use it often...we keep it "just in case"
