Dream meanings

Anyone else think dreams mean something and look them up?

I don't know if they Mean anything but more... Reflection of my stage of mind.

Since I've been pregnant I keep dreaming I'm in our house and I find more rooms. Last night off our front room was another bedroom, bath, then movie room and a huge balcony on the beach. I mean I wish there was a beach irl! They are usually all furnished and decorated, homey. In my dream I'm like oh wow... We should be using these!

I finally decided to look it up today. I read some lengthy explanations but this one from wiki answers was to the point:

"... But what you don't know is that the different rooms symbolize new beginnings. The new rooms are places you've never met and new arrivals.
The new rooms are telling you that you have more ahead of you in your future, and that can be good or bad depending upon the rooms"

How crazy is that?

Re: Dream meanings

  • I love looking up dream meanings--dreammoodsdictionary.com is a huge guilty pleasure of mine.  I don't take it too seriously but it's fun to look up :)

  • I think it's fun too. I only look it up if it's recurring. I mean I'm not sure what batman saving me from getting shot at would symbolize (dream last week). But since I've been dreaming of new rooms in our house at least once a week I figured I'd look it up today.

  • That's way cool.

I only look them up if it's recurring or really disturbing.  I've been having nightmares this pregnancy.

  • The only nightmare I had was a spider was falling from the light above my head. And irl I screamed at Jeff. He turned on the light and I was like oh... Sorry must have been a dream. He couldn't get back to sleep so he went to work lol. Oops.

  • You are so lucky mine have been seriously twisted.  I had a dream that I was trying to keep DH's guts in his body because they were falling out his side.  Seriously stuff staight out of Saw!  I wake DH up a lot because I death grip him in the middle of the night.  Freddy Krueger has got nothing on me!
  • I don't think dreams mean much, but its still fun to look them up sometimes.  Most of the ones I remember are all very violent and gory.  I kill a lot of people in my dreams...creeeeepy.

  • I've been having some really weird dreams the last few nights. I rarely remember dreams. I would be interested in knowing what they mean, but I just don't take the time to look them up when I do remember.

  • I look them up sometimes on dreammoods.com when I remember them. It's kinda fun.

  • I look them up a lot. Especially scary ones. Last night I was trying to put together a car that turned into a stroller (a city mini in green...very specific) while my students were mean to me. I don't feel the need to look that one up. haha

  • I have looked up dream meanings before, but I don't usually. I usually remember them for long enough to tell H (who thinks it's strange that I can remember a lot of detail) and then quickly forget about them. I can't remember them long enough to get access to a computer! haha
