Sorry I have been MIA. My life is kinda messy right now. I found out about a month ago that I lost my job for next year due to mandatory teacher cuts in our system. The HR guy and principal are "trying" to help me find a new job, but so far no luck. I have been working my butt of for end of year testing and job hunting. We are also moving to a bigger apartment at the end of the month, so there is that. I have just been so frustrated and busy I haven't been around much. I've been lurking and am so excited about all the new babies! Keep me in your T&P if you will that I am able to find another job teaching because limbo really sucks. I've missed talking to you ladies!

    I'm so sorry about your job! What subject/grade level do you teach? I teach music and I'm always afraid that I'll get cut. It's such a hard situation!

    I'm sorry to hear about losing your job. That is a seriously shitty feeling (I've been part of a small layoff and it suuuuucked). I'll keep you in my thoughts and send lots of nestie job dust your way that something else becomes available for you. Job hunting sucks, and I imagine it's far worse for teachers.

    Congrats on the new/bigger apt! Are you excited for the move (you know, except for all the effort of actually moving)? 

    I hope things are going well otherwise. And hope to see you around more often!

    C is great! She is getting so big, she just started crawling! I think she is beginning to cut teeth because she is really fussy and chewing everything. I cant believe how fast time is going. I teach 3rd grade right now, but I'm licensed k-6 and MS in a couple subject areas, so I'm really hoping something will come open. It really stinks that they had to make cuts. My principal said if I can't find anything she will try to at least hire me as an assistant but that is a pretty drastic pay cut.

    @LuckyAngel07‌ it worked out really well with the apartment, we are able to move into the one literally right across the breezeway because our neighbor just happened to be moving out now. That was one stroke of good luck. We dont even have to go down the stairs.
