So my husband is in a wedding this September and needless to say, the bride is a bit of a bridezilla! He received a letter yesterday listing all of his groomsmen duties and I thought I would share it with you ladies!

Ugh! I don't know if the imagine posted! If not, let me know and I'll type out what it said.

  • Wow just wow! I'm speechless on this. I mean some of it seems like common sense that she shouldn't have needed to repeat on paper I.e. paying for your formal wear uh duh!

I don't even know what to say. "pay for ..gifts during the course of the wedding celebration"?! That's a good way to win friends and influence people. ;)

Tim talked with the groom last night and mentioned how tacky the letter was. Since the bride sent letters to the bridesmaids (what I would pay to see that letter!) they figured the groomsmen needed them too. The bride wants to make sure everyone sticks around to help clean up afterwards and do all the bitch work! She'll be lucky if she gets a card at this point!

  • This is crazy. I get sending a letter or email with all of the info. We did that for H's groomsmen so they had everything (dates, number for the tux place, etc.). But if we needed them to go above and beyond in anyway (i.e. helping to clean up, demand gifts) H would have called and talked to them, not demanded it in writing!
