  • I don't think so.

  • nope, not at any of my jobs.  H says one of his co workers complains about everyone to everyone else.  I think the only person this guy doesn't talk abut is the president of the company. But all the project manangers and co workers are fair game.

Not since I've been in the professional world.

I think when I was the head life guard at a water park once a guard complained that I enforced the rules too strictly (...)

  • Oh yeah, it happens a lot.  I'm medical billing, so when I tell our outside sales reps I can't bill something they like to complain.  My boss just yells at them and tells them I can't break the law.
  • Ugh, yes. At my current job, our office manager, who is a treat, told my boss that me and my CW were "mean" to her. Now, I'm not mean to her, I just choose not to engage in the games she plays and that makes her mad, so she complains to our boss. And this woman is in her 60's. It's sad.

  • With my current job, I'm sure it's probably happened, but word hasn't gotten back to me about it.

It happened once at my old retail job. Not my fault that I didn't want to invent an imaginary sale so some customer could get a certain brand for cheap.

  • Yea, I had it out with an engr. He was a douche canoe. He had unrealistic deadlines, and vague criteria. He "allowed" me to go home when I didn't meet his deadline, then week later told my boss how he wasn't happy with my work. I had all the emails, and my boss wasn't happy he thought he could control my hours. I did get a talk about my "bad attitude" my boss thinks I have.

Recently, my cw told my boss I refuse to work with her... Because I took a paragraph she wrote for a test plan and put it in another one... And didn't have her review it. Mind you she is the worse person to get to review anything. She will tell you she'll be over to talk about it in 15 mins and 4 hours later (and 5 mins until you leave) she will finally come over.

  • It's possible, but I don't think so. My principal talked to me about how she didn't think I was "part of the team" back in the fall and I eventually figured out who on my team was having issues with me. I genuinely don't know why she didn't like me, but hey, her issue since I've got a classroom and she's now just a sub. I think at our school it's more a complain to each other than to the boss.

  • A few years ago I had jury duty during the first 2 weeks of school.  The judge who sat on the trial didn't sit in court on Fridays, so I went to work and planned for the next week.  The first Friday I went in, all the work that I left was untouched in the same spot where I left it.  I spent almost the entire day planning and getting copies, then sat with her for like half an hour explaining everything that I wanted done.

When I returned and she did nothing, I asked her what she was doing.  She ran to my principal and told her I yelled at her.  My principal called me in and questioned me and I explained the situation.  My principal called her back in and explained that it was my class and I would be back and she needed to do what I planned, not whatever she wanted.  PS, she continued to do whatever she wanted and I spent a month trying to catch up since I lost so much time with her being useless.
  • Not in any previous jobs.  Since owning my company, I've had one employee call me a bitch.  She was my brothers girlfriend at the time and we didn't get along for personal reasons.  I was very happy when we fired her.
