Re: Open Letter's Wednesday
Sincerely,
Hmmm.... an open letter...
Dear Husband,
Thank you so much for being such a help while we were shopping today. I usually go by myself when you are at work and it was a nice change to have you there.
Love, A Grateful Wife
Dear Abby,
I know we had a crazy long shopping day, but now it is over and it is time to sleep. I know you like playing with daddy buyt now is not the time. I wish you both knew that.
Love, Mommy
Please don't take any more time. I really need to move in August, not in September when I have a new job. One new thing at a time is enough.
Oh, I know that no matter what I do next year, I won't be at this building in the district. I might still be in the district, but the student I worked with won't have an aide next year. (GO HIM! Frankly, I'm really proud of him. I'm looking at him right now with his senior t-shirt on! I can't believe it's the last day of his junior year!)
I have a couple of options, and maybe those of you that teach can help me pick.
I could stay as an aide, and move to another building in the district, or I can start to sub. I feel like the lack of teaching experience is holding me back, but at the same time, I working at the same place shows commitment. And I have been getting some interviews, so it's not like it's holding me back too much. What do you think?
No, the only thing that's a benefit of not subbing are not starting the clock on my cert, and having a regular schedule. I might try it. Of course, I could be optimistic, and I could have a teaching job anyway. There are quite a few jobs in the district for teaching.
