AW- I had a great day today
We have staff development every Wednesday at 8 am. I've been late every week for at least the past 8. Today, I was on time, it was a miracle! My principal called for staff and I was finishing something. When I walked into the library, it was all decorated and they threw me a surprise baby shower. I am so difficult to surprise. It took a minute to register. They even invited my mom!
I was thankful because I almost put on sloppy looking clothes and changed my mind last minute to a nicer dress. I looked cute in pictures
Everyone was so generous! I got some adorable outfits, the bedding set, tons of books, and so many other things we wanted. A few people got stuffed animals to match the main character of the book. I really couldn't believe all that we got. I had such a smile on my face for the rest of the day to know that so many people were so excited to share in this time with us.
My class has library on Tuesday afternoon. The librarian had them write cards to me that I opened as the last gift. When I picked them up, one kids asked if I got the note. I thought he meant someone left a note on my desk, so I looked for it when we got back to the classroom. When I didn't find anything, I didn't think anything of it. They all wrote such nice things, they can't wait for the baby to arrive, I'll be a great mother because I'm a great teacher, they can't wait to meet the baby. A few even made name suggestions because they know we only have a girl name decided but nothing for a boy.
I felt so loved today and I know my baby will come into the world being just as loved. I can't wait for the baby to arrive!!!!!

The kids had a wide range of suggestions- Adam, Jayden, Jakai, Jeremy, and some more that I can't remember. They are mostly suggesting J names because I told them that's what I think I want the name to begin with.
