TGIF! Weekend Plans?

What is everyone up to this weekend?

Re: TGIF! Weekend Plans?

  • We don't have too much this weekend.  Tonight we don't have any plans, just the usual dinner and movie.

Saturday is Mason's last t-ball game, then our day is free!

Sunday, Rich is golfing all day, so I may take the boys to my parents.  We have birthday party late afternoon.  (We are celebrating Father's Day with our families next Sunday.)

Tonight - the usual, pizza for dinner and hanging out

Tomorrow - it's our Kennywood day

Sunday - I'll go to WW in the morning and I'm not sure what else is going on.  I kind of thought Father's Day was next weekend, so I don't even have a gift for DH.  Whoops.

ETA: I'm also off Mon-Wed next week and looking forward to not having to make lunches all week!  We are using our other vacation week at daycare since the bill went up adding Noah on all day in the summer.  I'm taking off the first half of the week and DH is taking off the 2nd.
  • Happy Friday!

Tonight: both of the boys had a sleepover at my parents house last night (first time ever!) and they're bringing them back around dinnertime...weather permitting, we're going to grill burgers and hang out for awhile

Saturday: we're hosting an end of the season baseball potluck at our house at 4, so prior to that we'll be mowing lawn, cooking, and getting the tables ready for that.

Sunday: No plans as of yet, waiting to hear back from Brian about what he wants to do with his day!  In the evening, I'll be running around making sure I have everything in order for Jake's first day of summer camp :)

  • Tonight - no plans!

Tomorrow - We have a b-day party to go to at 1:00 and then the boys are going to my parents house for the a sleepover and my girlfriends are coming over to hang out in the evening.

Sunday  - Gary mentioned going to Kennywood, but I would rather spend the day at my parents house in the pool!

  • Tonight- I want to go to the outlets after work. Then we will probably grab dinner.

Saturday-I am going to the strip, run to the mall for birthday gifts. Nathan is doing yardwork.

Sunday-Going to dinner with my parents for Father's Day after they golf. Probably go over my parents earlier since we are now throwing my SIL a shower so we need to start planning.

We have a lot going on the next few weeks (my parents' 40th anniversary, my mom's 60th birthday, my dad's birthday). And our July is packed with the 4th, our anniversary, weddings and it continues until August. So I will take a slow one!

  • This is an MIL visit weekend, so nothing exciting tonight and tomorrow we’ll be at her house all day. The pool is open, but she hasn’t had much hot weather yet, so who knows if the kids will be willing to go in the water. Probably depends on how hot it is there in the afternoon. I haven’t worked on any of my patterns since spring break, so I am hoping to have some time on my laptop while the kids are playing.

Not sure what we are doing on Sunday yet. Since R was traveling all week (he got home last night, yay!), he hasn’t really given it any thought yet. And since he had plenty of free time this week, I assume he will choose a family activity. I’ll at least encourage the kids to make cards for him. Need to have them draw a picture for my dad, too. I’ll also need to do laundry – two kids at camp dirties a lot of clothes, swimsuits and towels!

  • TGIF! I survived week one of summer break - 11 to go. *whew!*

I have a follow-up appt at the oral surgeon's today at 3:30, so the boys and I just emptied their closets and room into my car and after the appt and two stops at the stores, we're swinging by the new house to empty the car. I might make one more trip back tonight once the kids and DH are in bed - it's hard to do stuff with Sean underfoot, so this will give me a couple of hours to focus and bust some stuff out at the house.

Tomorrow, Gavbin has his final i9 flag football game from 8-10a, and then back home to load another load in the car. DH is going to be packing up our borrowed trailer with more furniture. We've got internet coming between 8 and 12, and then DirectTV some time between 12-4, so one of us will have to be at the house. The older two will probably swim and I might have my friend watch Sean for a couple of hours to help.

Sunday, finishing of the move, I hope. I want to be sleeping there that night and just have the last two weeks of the month to get bits and pieces and the rental house cleaned, including steam cleaning the carpets.

I've got so much to do and we leave town next Friday for a 4-day weekend up in Long Island - I'm so stoked to get out of here for a few days and to see family! But I have a lot to do before then... :)
