SBC WIJFR: Bridget Jones Diary (ns)
Ok so I'm moving things around for SBC and just read Bridget Jones Diary for the category "read a book whose movie version you've already seen".
I haven't watched this movie in years, but I remember enjoying it, so I thought why not try the book.
Ohmygosh it was like torture reading it! I kept wanting to punch Bridget in the face. I think it was mostly just the way it was set up, diary style, but I just could not get into it. I basically forced myself to finish it. The ending kind of made up for most of the rest of the book.
I have it 2/5 stars. The movie was definitely better I think.
