My dentist appointment didn't go well. I have a multitude of things that need to be done and we cannot afford them even with our insurance. DH and I think the prices may be too high so we a getting a second opinion on Wednesday and maybe even a third. I want to bitch out my younger self for not listening to my parents and then dentist when they warned me about the dangers of not taking care of my teeth. Now I hear the message loud and clear... way too late.

How was everyone else's luck with the dentist? I know a lot of us were setting up appointments.

Sorry, my only luck with the dentist has been in procrastinating in finding a new one. We had appts in May with our old one, but cancelled those telling ourselves we were going to find a new one here.

The dentist I am going to on Wednesday is doing the appointment for free since the one I went to on Friday didn't do a cleaning and I am bringing the x-rays they took. We are thinking about taking out a loan or getting a credit card to help pay for the work I need done. DH needs work done too, but his is a quarter of the cost of what mine is. He says I shouldn't wait any longer because my teeth are already so bad and he's right. It is a hard spot to be in. I really don't want to have another monthly bill or 2 to pay when I will still be staying at home. I talked about going back to work, but he still wants me to stay home. Anytime I bring up money or my teeth he gets upset with me since I've been freaking out about it and obsessing since the appointment Friday. Ugh!

Hindsight is 20/20. I really wish I would've wised up sooner before things got so serious.

I still need to find a dentist. And I know I have at least 1 or 2 cavities. My bitchfest would be that P has been a huge jerk since he got home on Saturday. I know that it sucks his flight on Friday was cancelled and he didn't realize it until he was at the airport. So he had to go pick up his rental car again and then spent 2 hours in gridlock back to his hotel just to get up at 5:00am to leave for his flight on Saturday. Then when he landed his bag wasn't on the right carousel. So it took him awhile to find it. Finally after all that he walked outside and was on level 5 which is the departure drop off area. I had gotten tired of circling and had parked in the short term parking which is right across from the pick up lane --- on level 4. Now I've been in the airport, I know there are signs by the escalator and elevator that the pick up area is down a level. But I get that P had a difficult trip/day. I still don't think it called for him hanging up on me and being bitchy the past three days. Last night he was complaining because he only got 4 Oreos for dessert. He even dropped the F bomb when complaining. It's just cookies. I can buy more. Jeez!

I flew to Seattle yesterday morning to get training on my new territory. The only thing I'm complaining about is early mornings and lack of sleep.

I am bitching that it isn't even Aug yet, and I am already being told to "be aware that you will need to save your job next year."
