At what stage of the home buying process do you get excited?
Meaning: Do you celebrate/get excited when you make an offer? It gets accepted? You make it through the inspection? The appraisal? You close? Just curious. My husband and I are being sooooo cautious and I don't know when I am allowed to give into the excitement of it all!
(I think this comes from watching too much HGTV where the couples are crying/elated after their offer gets accepted!)
Re: At what stage of the home buying process do you get excited?
I was most excited during the looking process. So many possibilities! Which one should I choose to be my new home? Each step after that was a little exciting, but I knew there were so many things that could go wrong, I purposely tempered my excitement until I was at the closing table.
But then, when I walked out of the office....finally a new homeowner. The BEST!!! The only thing a little disappointing is I wanted someone to put keys in my hand. I knew ahead of time that wouldn't be happening, but that would have made it perfect.
Like visiting at my homes' construction site and watching it how it is constructed, then looking up it once construction work finished and lastly while shifting to new home the BEST Day for me!!!
