I just got a notification that there is a level 3 sex offender moving within 2 miles of my house. Level 3s are the MOST likely to reoffend. There will be a hearing about him and his offenses for the community. WTF if he's so likely to reoffend why let him out? Also the neighborhoods in my area are mostly starter homes, there are so many children. Makes me sick to my stomach!

^^^ Yeah those are what we call in Indiana "Predatory Offenders" and if you look them up on the state's website there is literally a flashing red box around their picture saying so. That is creepy @goatlady! Hide yo kids, hide yo wife.

WTF Organic produce. I splurge on you and you decay within 25 seconds. Sincerely, going back to pesticides.

WTF job search...

I've applied for so many jobs, and not even one interview. It's incredibly frustrating! I know that I'm breaking the mold by not doing a traditional post-doc after Ph.D., but I don't want a career in research. Having a Ph.D. is making me overqualified for some jobs, but because I don't have real work experience, it's making me under qualified for a lot of jobs. It's a strange position to be in.

hamslabs1027 I actually find that organic produce lasts longer than conventional...except for organic dairy, that always expires more quickly. But, it also depends on the grocery store. Wegmans has amazing produce, but I had to stop shopping at places like Aldi because the produce was either rotten in the store or within a day or 2 of bringing it home.

@goatlady12 That's crazy...I'm happy that they are required to notify you when sex offenders move into your area, but it's also scary to know that someone that dangerous lives near you.

I was in the EXACT same boat when I got out of traditional law practice. Overqualified & underqualified at the same time. It took a while but I finally landed the job I have now. Hang in there!! I know it's so tough after working really hard to get that degree and not being able to find a job.

I find if I buy produce from a farmer that is organic, it does last longer, but the grocery store organic stuff has not been great lately : / I don't buy all organic produce but I definitely buy the "dirty dozen" organic, and recently switched to mostly organic dairy too. My parents have chickens so I get all the organic eggs I want for free! They are so amazing, it's crazy the difference between farm fresh eggs and store bought. But enough with my egg tangent! I think I'm going to go to my farmer's market today and try my luck with their stuff.

I love farmers market produce! You can't get it any fresher and it certainly lasts the longest : ) I agree with you on the fresh eggs too! When we were staying with my family in Italy, they had a chicken coop so my breakfast was always fresh eggs and a San Marzano tomato from the garden! I was so spoiled! I'm actually growing San Marzano tomatoes in my deck container garden, there's 2 little green ones starting on my plant right now. We'll see if they turn out the same as the ones from the Mother Land, ...no room for the chicken coop though :P

there was a convict released in my area and there were warnings everywhere saying he is violent and likely to attack again. Soooo, yeah, why let him go?!

@hamslabs1027 I always soak my produce in a vinegar and water mixture (4 parts water 1 part white vinegar) for about 10 minutes then rinse it off. It kills any bacteria or bugs that may be on the food.

WTF college. Our newspaper ran an article on how the early education program I participated in was ranked 327th out of 394 programs that they ranked IN THE NATION. How can you be that bad?! I knew I didn't felt ready, but holy cow. I'm frustrated.

WTF Hulu. You list a show on your site to stream. I click the show because I want to watch it since it's new and I don't have cable. And now apparently you tell me that I still need an active cable provider to watch it through your service.

What am I paying for?! I just want to watch my stories.

I used to go on my BMB a lot in the beginning but had to stop because the girls there were ridiculous! I haven't been on the bump in months !

There was a girl that said that the shooting at Sandy Hook was a conspiracy. Then a couple of girl cyber stalked her and commented on all of her comments how terrible of a human she was. We also had a girl that said a lot of the girls should consider their miscarriages fortunate. Disaster.
