I have had such a wonderful day so far. H gave me 3 choices for gifts, I chose maternity photos. I just need to hope the photographer I want is available
My class threw me a surprise party. They are awful secret keepers, so I knew they were planning something, but I couldn't believe what they did. They worked with our teaching assistant to plan everything. They had pizza, chips, crackers and cheese, juice, candy and cupcakes. They collected money and bought me a plant for the new house. They made tissue paper flower bouquets and had them up all around the classroom. Another teacher told me at the end of the day that they made invitations to the party for all the teachers. I've had a few classes throw me a surprise party but never like this. It was so wonderful, they made me feel so loved. A group of kids from my class last year made a card and brought it around the school. Pretty much all of the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students signed the card and most of the staff.
Now off to a dinner at an undecided location with H.
