T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • I really like them all, but would probably only use Edgar.. and as a mn. It was my granddad's mn so I'd love to use it. Unless we have multiple boys though, it probably won't get used.

  • I only like Eliza and Phillip. I don't think DH would use Eliza but Phillip is a definite possibility.

  • Dorothea - My grandmother is Dorothy, not a bad name, but we wouldn't use it.
    Eliza - I like it! I may have to mention it to DH!
    Jane - This is a contender for middle names as it is DH's grandmother's name and MIL's middle name

    Edgar - All I can think of is Edgar is MIB. I don't want an alien bug baby!
    Josiah - NMS
    Philip - I like it, but wouldn't use it.

  • Dorothea - This one is a no, my crazy grandma's name is Dorothy. I love her, but she has issues...

    Eliza - Cute, but I prefer Elizabeth, which is our #1 girl name right now.

    Jane - On my short list of mn's to go with Elizabeth. :)

     

    Edgar - Meh, not awful but NMS.

    Josiah - I kind of like it, but I'm afraid it's too religiously affiliated for me.

    Philip - Too close to my maiden name. :)

  • I have a very dear friend who has an Eliza Jane...I love the name but obviously wouldn't copy her. Josiah is the only one I think we'd use.
