We have a plan!!
So it wasn't even June yet and I heard 3 different times that I will be fighting for my job again. They hired this new counselor that doesn't even qualify for the job because she is from around here, so she will be staying. If I get to keep my job, I will more than likely be taking a pay cut. So I am already stressed out. I am sure you all remember this past year. J and I have decided that I will finish out my this year, but we will most likely be leaving here. We have to put the house up for sale, but we have 1 year to prepare for that. We have made some improvements on it. We probably won't make much profit, but hoping to sell it for what we bought it for plus realtor fees. 2 houses down is up for sale is for $169,000. Same sq footage and older. We bought ours for $132,000. So hoping for $160-150,000.
We are thinking Denver area. There are some jobs open right now. Its too early to apply, but there are jobs out there. If we live in the Brighton area, J can keep his job until he finds something closer.
Clearly this is all 1 yr away, but I feel such a relief to know that a) I won't have to stress as much about the job, because I am leaving, and 2) we are getting out of this one horse town and hopefully into a better school district with stable finances.
So I am sure you will hear all about these please all year and they will for sure change, but I am excited!
