Nothing too big aside from some house stuff and summer clothes shopping with my mom and sister tomorrow.  Church on Sunday as always.

And working unlimited overtime in between everything else since our 40 hour ban is lifted. :) Might as well make time and a half doing work in my PJs while watching TV.

    ETA - Fat fingers.
  • MEE!!!!
I snuck home through cape traffic to sit back on my couch and do laundry and do some more paperwork for work and watch tv :)

Tomorrow is errands and a 30th birthday party for a college friend

Sunday is either going back up to Boston to see my mom who had a knee replacement or seeing her at home if she is home.

@simsk3887, I'm so jealous that you get to work OT while at home in your pj's while watching TV.

@OceanHutt, how is your mom feeling?

I'm so ready for the weekend; this week felt really long to me.

We have zero plans this weekend, woohoo!  The only thing we have to do is laundry, other than that it is wide open so I'm planning on a lot of lazy time with a couple of trips to the gym thrown in there.

@xan921 A freakin rock star :) I called her this morning at like 10? she had already been up and walked and stood on it, and was hooked up to a flex machine. she has 60% range of motion already by 10am, and my sister said she was up and walking in the hall this afternoon. I am pumped for her and happy she seems well....if she keeps this up she will come home sunday and not be forced to rehab. she sounded awesome and happy and had found the medicine combo that is good for her :) thank you for asking :)

  • We're having a couple of big trees chopped down tomorrow- they are much too close to the house and they are getting old. On Sunday a friend is coming to chop up and haul away the wood.

Otherwise, hopefully I'll make it to the gym at least once.

  • I'm home alone all weekend. :( DH went to Washington state to see his big sister graduate nursing school. So proud of her! We couldn't afford for me to go, so home I sit. At least I have our fur babies to keep me company.

Thinking about seeing a movie by myself. Anything good out right now?

  • @OceanHutt - That is awesome! Good for her!  I used to be in physical therapy as a career so I've seen plenty a knee replacement.  Tell her to make sure she can get it super straight as well as bent.  It's easier to get the bending to come later on if someone doesn't push themselves or has any issues, but if they get stuck where they can't completely straighten it, we have some horribly painful ways of getting it there and I'd hate to do them let alone have someone have to endure them.  Best wishes to her!  Sounds like she's off to a great start!

    Woo hoo...Friday!

We met some friends downtown for RibFest tonight.

Tomorrow I have a haircut and then we have a BBQ to go to at a friend's house.

Sunday we're going to another friend's house to celebrate their little boy's 1st birthday. They're having a party next weekend, but we'll be away.

They had a towel under her ankle so that the knee would normally extend....i guess she has had such an issue for so long that when they went in there they had to extend everything so that when she has the new one the things will be normal with the new one. :)

She has a low grade fever.....which is scaring the shit out of me :(

Me! Kayaking tomorrow with ILs and their friends (who are super fun), and then we are back home cleaning, organizing, and cleaning!

FFC/UO I've realized after being at my ILs' "camp": I will totally judge the crap out of you if you have 1-ply toilet paper. I don't care how much money you save. I had 2-ply when I was a poor college kid who couldn't buy her roomie a bottle of Andre to celebrate a presentation. I think I'm going to pack my own TP next time we come here.

After 2 shitty IVF cycles and 1 loss at 6+2 (EDD 11/7/14), DH and I are pursuing DIA.

Pregnancy was never the end goal; being a mom was.
I've been holding out on GP: I got drunk once and started a blog: Here it is (11/7 update)

  • We're just waiting for our moving truck to get here with all of our belongings. It's weird being in a place with none of your things. We will hopefully check out the farmers market tomorrow. I'm so happy our new city has it every weekend! Hopefully catch a movie tomorrow afternoon. Sunday just preparing for my new work location and new team on Monday.
  • We went for a quick hike after work.  After the hike, came home and had some dinner.

Tomorrow we are going to a birthday party.  Our friends twins are turning one!  They are moving to Arizona in about two weeks, are live in New Jersey =(

Sunday my co-worker is coming over.  We plan on doing some hiking, and going strawberry picking.

  • Just got off work and in the morning we head for Canada so I can meet Diana Gabaldon and have her sign my book! :D Sunday we'll head home.

  • I'm currently in Hampton, VA for work (oh so much fun), but will be leaving around 2pm or so to drive home. Tonight I'm supposed to go to a Grease sing along with some local Nesties. If the weather is crappy (the venue is outside), we'll all grab dinner instead.

Sunday is getting all the weekend stuff done in one day - meal planning, shopping, laundry, cleaning.
