Has anyone watched the Delirium pilot? I know it's on Hulu right now and is in my que. Any thoughts? How's did the casting turn out?
Re: Delirium Pilot (sp)
They say that for now there are no plans made to continue the series, but it seems awfully suspicious to suddenly air the pilot on any platform.
I know what I'm doing with my evening now.
“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to."
"I don't much care where –"
"Then it doesn't matter which way you go.”
― Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland
It looks like they're trying to make Julian a potential love interest for Hana, which is strange to me, but I don't mind, because I liked TV-Julian, and I like TV-Hana (Jeanine - or is it Janine? - from SYTYCD a few years back). But although I like her portrayal, it's weird for me because she physically doesn't look like Hana as described in the books. There's so much made of Hana being Fair-haired and willowy and Lena being short with darker hair and eyes, so neither actress fits with my expectation in that regard. I actually liked Lena as well, even though I really can't stand Emma Roberts normally. But I did like her as Lena.
I tried to think in the mindset of someone who hadn't read the books, and I think they did a good job of setting up the premise for a new audience.
I would keep watching it if they produce a full series.
