Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Need your opinion
So J's cousin is getting married next Saturday. They never had a bridal shower - which is fine- but they are doing a sort of bachelorette party two days before. Everyone is meeting for lunch and then going to a place where there will be a painting class - meaning you all paint the same painting.
Here's my problem - The painting class is rather expensive for something that I don't like and really don't need someone's help to do. I wouldn't mind going just for lunch, as some other people are doing that- but the place they are going is over an hour away.
My question is- do I suck it up and pay the money (especially since I am inviting them all to do something similar later in the summer, only I'm paying) or do I say I can't make it and not go? I really don't know what to do.
