  Today is my Friday... The first of 3 Fridays off in a row! (thank you 4th of July!) I keep wanting to post finally Friday... I'm so over work this week.

  I'm thankful that A has really taken an interest in basketball. After begging him to do football, trying baseball, and suggesting every other sport imaginable, the camp I enrolled him in seems to be doing wonders for his self esteem and skills. He wants to sign up for the league this fall!

  I am thankful that in just a few short days the last reminder of our crazy neighbors will be gone!  Well, sort of.  The oil stain in the cul-de-sac will still be there...until our streets are finally finished.

  I'm thankful my boss told me to schedule a trip for September. I've been seriously stressed about my job lately, and this feels like confirmation that I'm not in any danger. (It's a really stupid reasoning, but every time M has changed jobs, I've either had my hours reduced or been let go due to lack of work.)

  I'd like to add to my thankful Thursday - Jeff's be meaning to ask for a raise. He should have gotten one back in March. I guess today they told him how much money he saves them, so he brought it up. They are moving him up to the 9 years of experience rates (finally taking his military experience!). He'll be making 6 cents more a mile and $4 more a stop! This adds up!

  I'm thankful that the bride of the wedding that M is in has changed her mind about letting her stay for the reception. I didn't want to have to coordinate a pick up with my ILs. I know she'll have a good time dancing for a little while.
