meal plan/ grocery shopping q
I am making my meal plan for next week and started wondering about other people meal plan. When do you set aside time for meal planning? Is it the same day every week or different? How many weeks do you plan? 1, 2, etc? Do you grocery shop every week on the same day or does it rotate?
I sometimes plan 2 weeks out. Other times just 1. It is never the same day. I go shopping every week, but usually only buy meats 2 times a month.
My mom would plan meals and make her list every Wednesday night and shop every Thursday night for the most part. I am wondering if her way is better.
I am overwhelmed this week because of planning the party menu and our menu for home. Lack of sleep from Abby being up for 3 hours last night from 2:30-5:30 isn't helping either. Maybe once her party is over it won't be so crazy.
