Food Checklist for Abby's Party
20 adults, 9 kids ages 4-15 * 4 families that may cancel last minute = 8 adults and 7 kids (they've done this in the past or just not shown up at all)
So based on everyone coming and not wanting loads of extra food if people cancel I got or will make...
* 32 hamburgers and buns with cheese
* 30 hotdogs and rolls
* 14, 3/4 cup servings of pasta salad
* 15-20, 1/2 cup servings of corn salad
* fruit salad or kabobs (I'm not sure servings wise. I was just going to buy fruit and make it)
* party size of chips
* 1 pound of pretzels
* 24 cupcakes
* 1 number 1 giraffe cake (I am making)
* 7 liters of raspberry lemonade
* 2-3 gallons of sweet tea
* 30 animal cracker favor bags
Do you think this is enough?
I plan to bake the cake and cupcakes Friday during the day and ice/ decorate them on Saturday. Then I will make the pasta and corn salad on Saturday, but maybe wait to dress them until Sunday. I think I will make the fruit salad the day of the party so it is fresh.
Does that timeline sound ok?
