It's so quiet this week! Does anyone have plans for the 4th or the long weekend?
Re: Plans for the 4th?
I took Monday off, so I am excited for the 4 day weekend.
Our neighbor has a 4th of July party every year, so we will be doing that on Friday. On Saturday we will go swimming, either at my parents or community pool. Sunday we have another neighber's party to go to. On Monday I hope to have a low key day with the boys.
On the 4th I'm doing the Brentwood parade with dance team. Obviously walking or riding - no one wants to see me squeeze into a costume right now!! Then we're going to a picnic at my cousin's.
My dad's aunt is celebrating her 85th birthday, so the family is having a surprise party for her on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone.
Sunday dance team is performing at Idlewild, so we'll be there all day.
Happy 4th everyone!
Friday - going swimming/spending the day at my parents house.
Saturday & Sunday - we have no plans and I am very happy about that! We spent last weekend at Cedar Point/Castaway Bay so we need a nice weekend of doing nothing!
Happy Fourth!
There's supposed to be a nice parade here from 10-11, that ends up in the Town Center, where there will be kids' activities, so we'll probably check that out.
After the event, we'll head home for Sean to nap and I'll probably swim with the other two boys.
DH lands around 4:30, so we'll head over to the airport a bit before bc the boys are making him "welcome home" type signs. I'm thinking take-out for dinner since we'll both be so tired.
My three sons!

Liam - 5.17.11
It's more work than a vacation, but I should be able to fit in some knitting time between swimming, hiking and making sure my family eats. :-)

Not sure what we are doing tomorrow. The 4th we have a 1st birthday party for twins to go to. Then a BBQ at one of dd's friends' houses. Should be fun.
Saturday we are watching one of dd's friends so will probably go swimming or splash pad. Not sure about the rest of the weekend yet
We'll boat during the day, and will set the bounce house up so the boys can continue to wear themselves out. We bought some Costco fireworks, so we plan to grill Friday night, and then let off some of the fireworks in the back yard after dinner. We hope to boat and swim the rest of the weekend.
