3 1/2 still puts everything in her mouth
Are my expectations too high for a 3 1/2 year old? I feel like dd should be able to play playdoh without me watching her like a hawk, but apparently she can't. She is still eating playdoh and a couple weeks ago she at a portion of a paperback book at nap time. My oldest child hasn't done anything like that since she was under 2. I'm worried about sending her to preschool in the fall. Should I let them know that she will be the kid eating paste? I know that babies/toddlers like to explore things with all their senses (especially tasting) but shouldn't she be out growing that by now? Maybe my oldest dd was just a very mature 2 year old?
Signed,
This kid is making my hair turn gray
