  I'm very excited about the long weekend!  Plus, I'm taking a half day today because I need to take my dad to the airport this afternoon. 
  
  We don't really have anything planned.  Hopefully get some work done around the house, and maybe visit with family.  Our town did their fireworks last weekend, which we can see from our patio.

  We have a wedding to go to on the 4th, and probably some outlet shopping to do as well! Then on the 5th, my brother is having a BBQ that we'll swing by.

  @curls218....Lucky!  It seems like everyone is going to the beach, pool, or lake this weekend!  I'm doing nothing!  I have to work tonight.  DH has to work both Friday and Saturday night.  One of our buddies wants to go riding.  I need to put the plastics back on my bike, but I'll probably go ride for a bit this weekend.  Supposed to be nice!

  H is going to a music festival here, so I'm going to visit some girlfriends about a three-hour drive away. I'm looking forward to getting out of here for a few days and I have no desire to go to that music festival.
  
  I have been so swamped at work lately -- I don't think I went home before 7:30 p.m. once this week -- so I am antsy as hell to get out of here.

  Sounds like everyone had a good weekend.
  
  The 3rd H and I went to the symphony's patriotic concert. They had no cannons going off this year. I wonder if it's because of the rain we had.
  
  I worked the 4th and got off in time to get a dining table and watch fireworks.
  
  I was sick Saturday but finished up cleaning and organizing one of our closets. Sunday I was feeling better and we did laundry. Then visited my Uncle who's in town and my Grandmother.
