WIJFR: Ashfall (darkest YA book I've ever read)

Has anyone read Ashfall by Mike Mullin? I just finished it and it's pretty good. I was kinda shocked at how dark and violent it was though. Obviously, plenty post-apocalyptic YA books are like that but, geez, more than the usual amount of death and grossness (in a good way) in this one.
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

  • I loved Ashfall!  The second one is good, too.   Thanks for reminding me to pick up the last one.  :)

  • I checked it out from the library but didn't get the chance to finish it before it was due back. I need to check it out again so I can finish :)
