Today is D's bday. We are heading to the mountains for a hike and lunch. I am a little upset because he kept saying he wanted a universal remote. Of course I bought a nice one because I know how picky he is and it again was the wrong one. I can never buy him a gift ever.

We are here hanging out today. I have laundry to do and he is going to play video games. Its the last weekend for awhile before he starts his weekend job for awhile.

Guy's techie toys are like women's makeup in my opinion. We don't want just "a" thing, we want a very specific brand/model with certain features.

Think of it as your husband doing out and buying you pink nail polish, but it's 2 shades darker than what you wanted and doesn't go with anything else that you have.

Probably not the best example, but I'm trying....:)

Today's plans are gym, grocery shopping, go to a kid's consignment store (I'm throwing my sister's baby shower on August 2nd and am on the lookout for a couple things), and then clean/organize the apartment (laundry, dishes, put a few more boxes away, etc). I'm ready for a nap already. I hope everyone has productive (or relaxing) Sundays!

Just hanging out. I'm stalking a house listing I found to see if it sells. Hoping it doesn't. Even P is interested enough that he says we should go get pre-approved an Tuesday (finally!). After that we will schedule an appointment to go see it. So crossing my fingers it doesn't sell.

We were/are looking at Brighton. But the listing we are looking at right now is in Platteville. We like it as a starter house here in CO that we can possibly improve/upgrade and eventually use as a rental.

Abby's party was today. We had more than enough food. I actually ended up throwing out the pasta salad because no one ate it and DH and I don't like it. The watermelon fruit salad and the cakes were a huge success though. Some pictures are already up on facebook with more on the way.

Glad the party went well! I had a great time -Jen, your doppelganger got married. So I was there most of the weekend. J decided at the last minute that we should get a hotel room, and I am so glad we did. We got some alone time

, and got to stay a whole lot later at the reception. It was a great wedding though. But Sunday, all I wanted to do was come home and sleep, so that's what I did.

And Mark, that is a perfect comparison.
