spinoff post: what else is still on your summer bucket list?
If you had some ideas for things you wanted to do this summer (fun stuff or household related projects), how's it going? What do you still hope to do?
Re: spinoff post: what else is still on your summer bucket list?
:-S
However, in terms of fun stuff we do have a few things we'd still like to do. We have our vacation in August to look forward to, and we'd also like to make it to kennywood for the first time with the boys. Brian wants to have a camp out in our backyard with the boys (which I am all about because that would give ME a night to myself inside in a cozy bed!) With Jake doing a field trip once a week with summer camp, I feel like he's been able to do a lot of the fun Pittsburgh stuff on his own, so that's been great for him!

We had a night last week where it was just the four of us splashing in the kiddie pool and playing baseball. It was so nice, I just want to recreate that as many times as possible before summer is over.
DH and I have never mini golfed together! I want to do it this summer.
We also have talked about trying our hand at pierogi making. It would be great to try it this summer because I know the fall is going to be super busy.
We've got a pirates game next week and we plan to go to Kennywood and Idlewild in August. A few visits to MIL's to use her pool. A few picnic dinners at the playground. I know DH wants to do some more hiking, too, though I am okay with moving some of that to fall. :-)
