I just wanted to thank you for my current obsession with Erin Condren.  I ordered a life planner after I saw yours on IG.  I hate/love you right now and I can't wait to get my planner!

Re: @superlibrarian

  • I totally bought one too after seeing that IG post!  I've been looking for a planner for a while now and this seemed perfect.  I'm anxiously awaiting it.

  • I just checked this out and I need one, I have been looking for a good one too! Does it have a section for meal planning and grocery lists?

  • @Shepherdjel--I'm not sure but it has PLENTY of note paper you can get in order to make those lists on.  It looks like there is a lot of room on each day too to make lists and notes.  I haven't gotten mine yet--I will check back in when I do and let you know for sure.
I just love the design and how it looks like it holds everything together.  I even got the personalized stickers.

I'm glad I could enable your new obsession! :) I do a lot of things digitally but for some reason just need to have a paper planner. This one is pretty and well-organized, so I use it multiple times a day.

The life planners are expensive so I usually ask for one as a gift. But I just got an unexpected check for $60 in the mail AND got a new job that I'm excited about, so I decided to reward myself and order a new 18-month planner.

@ShepherdJel - Look at the videos on the Erin Condren website for an idea of how the pages are laid out (https://www.erincondren.com/life-planners-more). I think some people use the small lines at the bottom of each day to write in meal plans. Or the monthly calendar view. And each week has a lined list which could be used for groceries or to-dos. There are lined and unlined pages in the back of the planner but not a ton.

P.S. If anyone wants to use my referral code for $10 off, feel free! https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/tarynbush1204

  • Once I get my new planner, I'll probably write up a blog post or do a YouTube video about how I organize it. This will be my 3rd year using the life planner, and I'm going to do things a little differently. I'm currently brainstorming the best ways to use it for:

    - bill tracking/finances
    - cleaning schedule
    - meal planning
    - fitness
    - baby's schedule
    - work schedule/projects
    - blogging schedule
    - appointments/errands/to-dos

I feel kind of nerdy that I'm so excited about a new planner. But I've always been this way and have been using paper planners since I was a kid!

I hate you all. Now I have planner envy. I am trying to justify the $$ to buy this NOW. I don't think I can though!!! :((
  • I know, it's hard to justify the price sometimes, but it's something I use every day and really motivates me to stay organized. My mom usually gets it for me for my birthday since it's hard for me to convince my husband I need to spend $50 on a planner.

  • I definitely had to go back and forth on the justification to spend the money, especially since I had just bought a planner, but I really feel like this will help me stay organized the way I want to be, PLUS, it's pretty, PLUS it's personalized.   I am the same as you--I'm VERY digital and I've used my calendar on my phone but somehow, it always makes more sense to me and "sticks" better when I write it down--plus I can doodle and make notes and you can't do that on your phone...so I'm a paper planner kind of gal.

I feel the same way, but the more and more I think about it, I think to help decrease my stress and anxiety this is definitely worth the price... ;-)
