WIALT - The One - The Selection #3
I really enjoyed the fluffiness of the first two books and have been waiting for The One to become available at my library. Well, the audiobook was free, so I checked that out, and man, I cannot stand the narrator! I had this image of America in my head, and the narrator is so breathy and just plain obnoxious. I'm doing all I can to keep listening, but this is pretty much ruining it for me.

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
