H and I are installing the car seat base this weekend in both cars and I was reading the manuals for info. I know you have a Jeep, so I wanted to share how stupid my manual is. They only gave me a hard copy "Getting Started" guide. The detailed info is on a CD, that I needed to update my Adobe to use. The info I needed wasn't even in the guide!
I went to Google and got my info. In a Grand Cherokee, you can use the two closest LATCH points for a center car seat install. I don't remember what model you have, but I don't think you'll find that info in your owner's manual.
I guess it's the heat and the pregnancy, but I am so annoyed with Jeep. I wish we had money for a new car.
Re: mana
Did you guys figure it out?
@DanaOcNy - get on it girl!
@mana8503, from what I've found, in a Grand Cherokee and in H's car, the LATCH points can be used in the middle too, you just can't attach 2 car seats to them. Installing car seats is this weekend's project, I'll update you after it's done.
@mpjf1001 thanks for the advice! I'll be sure to ask if I think of any questions. The BMBs are so snarky. I really only lurk over there for fear of Internet stepping on someone's toes.
Looks like you can use the LATCH system or seat belts so it's doable. Idk what the difference is, what's better, etc. They only tested 2 seats for the boosters, not infant carriers. I know I went to buy buy baby and they had a bunch of bases and car seats to play with and I'm sure they would let you test them in your car with their supervision.
@DanaOcNy - you should head over today and have them do it. I am sure since we are in the same area your FD will have similar policies to mine.
Sorry for the ramblings...
@DanaOcNy, see if the trooper barracks on crystal run road will check it for you, not sure if the fire dept in middletown will, we never had ours checked we just used a latch from each side to secure the base in the middle until she was ready to be moved!
@mpjf1001 thanks for the suggestion of the barracks, completely forgot we could go there too. We are going to attempt tonight in getting it in and hoping we have no problems.

@islandmonkey8 Call it pregnancy brain but at first I was like, "Isn't this her first pregnancy? Why does she need 2 seats?" Totally brain farted that you are having twins
And to all the Hudson Valley ladies, I would love to meet up! It would have to be sooner rather than later since I have an expiration date.
