I have an office cat and I have always been the one cleaning the litter ever since she was adopted by us. Now that I am pregnant I am not supposed to handle litter.
My boss has told me that once I'm pregnant she will start cleaning it but I am only 4 weeks and not sure if she is someone I should be filling in on this. What do you suggest I do or say to my boss regarding this?

Clomid 50mg 9/13 = BFP! EDD 6/7/14 M/C 5w6d Found 11/4/13
1/14 PCOS / Gluten Free Diet to hopefully regulate my system.

I was going to say what @LuckyAngel07 said but I started my post and then got sidetracked. I don't know if people may think it's odd that you are suddenly wearing gloves and a mask to clean the cat litter though. I hope you figure something out!

As a veterinarian I deal with cat feces on a basically daily basis and that won't change in the next nine months. I discussed a titer with my Dr which we are doing, but he first made a ridiculous comment about having "aids" to do that job and then conceded that with good hand washing I would be fine.

At work, I will probably stick with the gloves and mask idea. I might tell my boss at 8 weeks if she doesn't catch on before than.

I just wanted to chime in that I'm jealous you have an office cat! How blasted cool is that?!
In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!
T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.
