  It's a pretty small bathroom.  The sink/counter top is white and the cabinet portion is like a medium cherry wood.  lol does that make any sense?
  
  I was thinking maybe a pale yellow.  But will that remind me of pee in a bathroom?

  What about a shade of the blue that shows up on the trim of the towels.  I'm not sure I would go quite that vivid, depending on how much wall space you have, but a lighter shade of the same tone? 
  
  However, no one has ever accused me of being an interior designer!

  Hmm. the wood tone is throwing me off. But if it is a neutral-ish wood you could totally go with a whole preppy pink and green theme.  I would go with a pale pink on the walls, and then continue with the darker pink and green accents.  Make it fun!
  
  * disclaimer, I am living in a 1960s multi level and am so upset over needing to update the pink bathroom and trying to think up ways to retain some of its retro charm

  Thanks for all the input.  I am torn between a very light blue or a pink.  I guess I will have to tape some sample chips on the wall and look at if for a while.   I don't know why this is the only room in the house giving me trouble.
