WTF self. DH's boss is sending him to a fancy hotel for a bankruptcy law conference (EXCITING!) from Thurs-Sat and I am already afraid of sleeping alone at our apartment

WTF self. I just spent hours looking for DD's birth certificate and social security card. I swear I thought i put it where I always do, nope! Thank god I finally found it with our tax paperwork from last year bc it's the only thing that will get DD on the plane when we leave for Disney and I really didn't want to have to go thru the process of getting new copies!

WTF person who volunteered to read my resume/cover letter and give me some constructive criticism. I had an informational interview last Wed with a person who works at a place that I'm interested in applying at. She offered to look at my resume and sample cover letter, so I sent it to her within 45 minutes of getting off the phone (it was a phone informational interview). It's now been a week and I haven't heard back from her. I just emailed her again today that there's a position open that I'd like to apply for and asked if she read my resume and if she knows anyone in that department. We'll see if I hear back : /

I don't want to sound annoying, which is why I waited a week before asking if she had read it. I hate how the job search makes you rely on the kindness of strangers and how much luck is involved.

WTF friend I was supposed to meet for lunch?

Backstory: When I was a kid I was sort of friends with a girl from my church because she was literally the only other girl there. I didn't like her much and we never stayed in touch after she moved. Fast forward to present day and she found me on FB and lives near me. We agreed to meet up today, but then she texts and asks if we can meet later. Then she asks if we can meet another day because her kid is teething. ARGH. I feel terrible for being annoyed with her because it's not her or the baby's fault. I just really didn't want to be home alone today. Now I actually have to be productive and pull weeds or something.

Wtf flakey friend.
You kept backing out of all the plans I made with you and I invited you to my bbq cookout on the 5th but I knew you wouldn't show so I wasn't surprised when you didn't show. But you planned a party on the 4th that I never said I would attend since we had ours the next day and now your mad at me for not showing.
I don't have time for you, I have a baby coming! Something you would know if you stopped backing out of everything.

Wtf contractors... so we went away and came back to a new bathroom in our rental house. (Finally! After a year of the landlord promising to fix it)

At first H and I were pretty amused. It looked nice. Our only real complaint was size since the new shower/tub had shelves that we didn't have before, which made it more narrow to move around in.

Unfortunately the contractors left all their garbage and debris in our yard. Does not help either that I was hand washing something in the bathroom sink and discovered later that now our sink is leaking.

I can't win.
