So aside from being deeply offended by the name Elizabeth or any variation thereof, what are your weekend plans?

  • I just finished making a Superman cape for my nephew and now I'm off and on cleaning out boxes in the garage and attic since we've had a cool front come through and it's only in the 80s here right now. It feels amazing outside if you can ignore the humidity! We'll probably be doing more of that tomorrow as well. I also may try to go through crap in the other bedrooms too. I NEED to declutter and organize big time

  • I have to craft some things for a raffle basket for my MIL's dog park at some point this weekend. Tomorrow evening, I'm hanging out with my mom for a bit, amd hopefully swimming on Sunday if it heats up a bit more.

After work today I went to lunch with Dh and then got a pedi.  Dh works tonight so I'll probably spend the night doing some cleaning and watching a movie or something.

Saturday morning I have a monitoring appointment and then the rest of the day is open; we'll probably go grocery shopping at some point and then just be lazy.

Sunday Dh's brother, SIL and our niece and nephew are coming over for a cookout/pool party so that should be fun.

That cushion is super cute @nfp147!  I love the pattern and the colors.  Is that the same fabric that you'll use for the wedding?

Thanks!  No, that was fabric I bought for our living room.  The wedding fabric is different.

  • Tonight - No real plans. I think DH is making homemade pizza which is amaaazzzing

Tomorrow - I'm supposed to be "assisting" DH while he does some construction. I plan on whining a lot so that he tells me to just go for a walk. Hopefully dinner with some of our friends afterwards.

Sunday - Cleaning and then my cousin and his wife are coming up to see the house's progress.

@nfp147 Those cushions are super cute!  I wish I was crafty and could create things  :-/

@Xan921 Sunday sounds like it will be a blast!  I love having family over for different things.

I am continuing to celebrate my birthday weekend (the only plus to not having a baby--I still get to celebrate as long as I want).  Tonight we are going to a church picnic--HOMEMADE ICECREAM.  Tomorrow we are going to the Cardinals game with family and going out before and after.  Sunday, I have a dear friend's bridal shower.  Nothing major--but next weekend--I am going to Chicago!!  I will be posting a thread about that later ;)

  • Tonight - Grilling out, cleaning my car, and hopefully going for a drive with H.

Tomorrow - H leaves for WI.  I'm taking my BFF and her son to the airport so they can go back to Cali. :-(  I'm going to miss her too much.
Since I will already be in the Chicago area I'm meeting up with a couple of friends from college for breakfast then coffee.  Then I'm meeting up with another GPer.  Will probably do some major grocery shopping at Trader Joes for yummy food too.

Sunday - Teaching Sunday school, then set up at a Tastefully Simple event.

At some point this weekend I need to do an 8 mile training run, but I have no idea when that's going to happen.

  • Tonight - Going away party for my neighbors. I am so sad. This is the girl who gave me all my HCG and PIO shots. She's my IF bitter friend IRL, and everyone else in the 'hood has kids or has one on the way (except for the guys across the street and the engaged couple, who will probably get pg on their HM)

Saturday/Sunday - No plans at all. I am so excited. DH might get me to go golfing.
TTC #1 since Feb. '12. dx: "unexplained" IF
After 2 shitty IVF cycles and 1 loss at 6+2 (EDD 11/7/14), DH and I are pursuing DIA.

  • My parents are on their way here with my 3 year old niece for the weekend. I haven't seen her in over a year. It's finally starting to be worth the cross country move. Yay for being closer to family!! I intend to spend the whole weekend spoiling her rotten. Zoo, pool, horse farm, and all the junk food she wants. Woo!!

@Mustard76, 3 years old is my favorite age for kids.  I feel like it's the perfect age for starting to understand things but still having such a baby-ness to them.  I hope you have an amazing time with your niece!

  • Tonight - We chilled and emptied the rooms for tomorrow.

Tomorrow - Sleeping in! Then getting our NEW furniture.  I feel like living here will finally start to feel real once we have a couch to chill out on.  Camping chairs just aren't doing it for me anymore! :)  We're hoping to replace our bathroom vanity and start unpacking the whole basement worth of boxes as well.  How in the hell we acquired a whole basement full of stuff when we lived in a one bedroom apartment is beyond me!  We're also emptying everything we already put in the kitchen and reorganizing it because it just doesn't make sense and my Type A personality is going crazy to make it make sense.

Sunday - Church, then taking the pup to the pet store to get some different food and probably spoil her with some treats.  I'm hoping to do a little bit of decorating in the rooms that are painted and have furniture, but I'm guessing DH won't let me until all of the boxes are empty. :(

DH has applied for his firearms "possession and acquisition license" so tonight we're going to look at gun safes because they are on sale at Canadian Tire.  I'm starting to regret nagging him for not having a hobby.  Now he's going to have a very expensive hobby.

Tomorrow DH is going to the driving range (golf) with a friend, so I'm going to sew.  I told a girlfriend I would make 24 cushions for her wedding, so I've got some work to do.  I made a practice one for myself the other night and it turned out really well:

    image

Sunday I'm having brunch with said girlfriend and hopefully spending some time on the couch watching Game of Thrones (I'm hooked).
    1) I love that pillow!! It looks like one I would buy at Pier 1 or Pottery Barn!

    2) TWENTY FOUR PILLOWS?!

    3) I'm obsessed with GoT. Do you read the books? If you go on a Wiki of Ice and Fire you can literally spend hours reading millions of theories and character and plot connections.

  • We went out tonight to the Cheesecake Factory for my BILs girlfriend's birthday. I'm slightly drunk on sangria and I love it - soooooo yummy!

We're trying NOT to spend too much money, we have a lot of things we're saving up for, so the weekend will probably be a lot of lazing about, gym, yard work, and a whole lotta nothing. I'm actually excited. it's nice to just be sometimes. :-)

  • H is out camping, so... Sleeping in the middle of the bed, watching all of the things he hates on netflix, and listening to folk music
    Married 2011.
    Baby Boy 2015.
  • Today:  Meeting a friend at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch, then doing some shopping.  Need to get a baby shower gift.  And I need some new work pants.

Sunday:  Early birthday dinner at my parents (my birthday is Thursday, but my parents will be out of town).

Other then that, I don't think we are doing anything else.  Of course the usual, laundry, cleaning, food shopping... fun!

Yes, 24.  She's getting married in an old Mill and there's a lot of wood, so these will bring some colour and softness.

I did not read the books.  I don't think they would be my thing, even though I'm loving the show.
