Tyrion Declan is here!!! *******updated with long version of the day********
Tyrion Declan arrived at 8:06 pm on 7/14/14, weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and 22inches long (he has since shortened by 2 inches after his GIANT cone head went back to normal size! This past week has been completely indescribable !!! I am absolutely obsessed with my little munchkin man!
Sorry for such a delay ladies!! Right I posted on Monday shit got real, real fast and it was basically non-stop till we were discharged. To make a long story short I basically labored all afternoon, pushed for 1 1/2 hrs and wound up with sedated c-section BC epidural placement came out and no time for new one. If anyone is interested I will share the long version lol.
We waited till morning to name him BC I wanted more time to see him. We ultamitely decided to go with the name we both loved! Here's some pics if the adorable baby!!

Congrats!! He's so adorable. Where did you find that little bowtie? I think we all want the long version...
Day started easy on the pitocin drip, was good till about 1 pm. Dr had come in to check me and I wasn't dilating much so she broke my water. Basically very uncomfortable and gross lol. Pain was still bearable so I declined when the dr asked if I wanted an early epidural. Within 10 mins they had to call her back so anesthesia could place epidural. They had to stick me 3 times to place it right and while it didn't hurt at all my body was not responding well to it and I almost passed out 2x (blood pressure tanked to 80/39). Did ok with the epidural until it stopped working on half my body . They had to come back and give me more Meds and I laid on left side to make Meds go there. That finally worked and I was comfortable for a while.
5 pm dr is back to check me and I'm now fully dilated and she said it was time to turn off the epidural, stating it should linger about an hour. 15 mins I was DYING from the contraction pain. Dr finally comes back 45 mins later and I pushed for 1 1/2 hours before I seriously could not do it any more. And every time I pushed the babies heart rate was dropping very low. I need oxygen between every push. I physically was drained. They bring me down for a c-section only to find my epidural line had come dislodged. No time to place new one so decision was made to give me general anesthesia. H could not be in the room at all.
Tyrion was born at 8:06 pm and I was finally out of recovery and could meet him at 10 pm!!! It was seriously the most exhausting day of my life and the end result was 1000000000% worth it!!!!
The Bowie is attached to an outfit from babies r us that says. Handsome Man! I couldn't resist the bow tie!!
I'm glad you have a healthy LO and everything ended up being ok in the end. What a scary day you had!
Congrats!
