    I am getting ready for my trip to Nashville, or at least thinking about it. I steamed my dress and finished my presentation. Still have to do laundry and pack. I just want to be lazy.

    I am here.  I just paid some bills and now I am pouting bc J and I can't agree on going on a trip this year.  He wants to save it in case we move, and I want to go on a trip while I can.

    I can't wait to see pictures of the dress!

    We have the money in the bank to pay for this trip outright without hurting any monthly budget.
    We both picked up second jobs to pay for various things and get our minds off the mc.
    I want to be somewhere nice for my EDD.
    I am tired of saving money all the damn time!

    That is my exact thought.  

    His thought is that we *might* have to pay Realtor fees if we move next year IF I lose my job. I think he is over-reacting.

    I agree, but I can't get him on board.  IDK what the deal is. I brought it up last week. He got into an argument about it. I dropped it for a few days.  Then today I brought it back up. There are too many IFs involved.  Plus we had a conversation about possibilities. PLUS we have a whole year to save. I just want this one thing.

    I am not sure if he is thinking about that. Maybe we should have another talk tomorrow.  I just feel like A) anytime he wants something, I find a way to come up with the money.  B)  The longer we wait, the higher the price goes up. 

    I do see his point. $3,000 could be spent on a lot better things, but I am responsible 99% of the time.  I clip coupons, I don't shop, I do everything I can to re use things.  This one thing is what I want.

    I'm kind of here too. Just got done working out at the gym (very proud of myself for that one). Now just to shower, and probably clean up the living room a bit before relaxing.

    I think you should go Jen. Coming from a saver, you are going to get to a point in life with a whole lot of money in the bank, and go, well, should have gone to Paris.
