HI all! I have been an avid reader most of my life and will read just about anything I can get my hands on (including the bak of cereal boxes lol!). I just had my second daughter and have been married for 5 years. I will be going back to work very soon and will hopefully have more time for reading then as I usually spend my lunch hour with a good book! I miss reading and am hoping by coming here I can get some reccomendations, have some discussions, and mostly to remind myself how important it is to keep up my hobbies for my sanity!
Re: Intro
I flip between genres, I love the classics (David Copperfield is my fave!) but also like chick lit (Emily Griffin type books), and any suspense/drama (cops, legal, medical mysteries) John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson like authors.
But I usually don't shy away from books out of my comfort zone, I really enjoyed the Delirium series. I read that based off a recomendation and that led me to want to read The Hunger Games, which I also liked!
