I know this has been discussed before but the search function and my computer aren't getting along today. I apologize!
We have our closing schedule for Friday, and our realtor has been a rockstar throughout the whole process. He didn't help us find the house (we found it on our own by going to an open house) but has answered every question promptly, even at off hours, given us advice on the whole process, and really made everything go super easily so far. I'm especially impressed with his service since 1) we are in the very lowest price range for our area, so this won't be his biggest commission, 2) he has five closings this week alone, including selling his own house and buying a new one. We will definitely give him good word of mouth PR, and I plan on asking him if there is a local website where it would be helpful to leave a review, but I'm getting mixed messages from my IRL friends and family about whether we should do anything else.
So, homeowners on the board who loved their buyer's agent, did you give a gift?
Realtor Gifts 31 votes
Yes-a small gift card or similar
Yes, but only because he reduced his commission to help us get a deal
No, just great word of mouth
A thank you card and great word of mouth
Re: Realtor Gifts
Angie's List and Yelp are websites I go to when looking for reviews. Not sure if there are others that would be better, but would definitely leave feedback there.
