Weekly workouts.

How is it going ladies?  What do you think is a good day of the week for this post?  I've just been winging it.

  • I think Wednesday is a good day for the posts since it's midweek.

    I did yoga and abs on Monday and skipped yesterday. Tonight is legs and I can't wait. Tomorrow is Zumba and Friday is Yoga. I am going to try to get up on Saturday to to Zumba but we will see.

  • I've just been walking, which is lame.  But it's something.  The weather hasn't cooperated for my bike rides, unfortunately.

  • I think Wednesdays are good too.

    I can't remember if I mentioned that I hired a training and nutrition coach in last weeks thread or not.  The diet is not much different that what I've been doing, so that hasn't been too difficult so far.  The workouts though!  O.M.G!!!  They are killer!!  My legs have never been as sore as they are right now.  Thank God, it's 2 days on, 1 day off, so today is a rest day.  I'm excited though because I know it's going to work and I'll be in great shape in the next couple of months!

    The best part is that I'm not doing any cardio!  It's mainly weights with faster movements so I still get my heart rate up, but no lugging away on the elliptical or treadmill.

    I'm also happy to report that Sean is still on track with the diet and exercise.  He hasn't cheated much this week, and I think it's because we don't have the kids.  When they are around, they have sweets and chips and whatever else, and he just can't resist taking a bite or two of whatever they are having.  We'll see how he does next week.

  • Last week was tough, I had a bunch of things going on and my bestie was in town over the weekend which meant eating things I don't normally eat and booze. I think I got in 2 (maybe 3?) Level 2 30 DS workouts.

    This week I've been eating better and have gotten in 3 30 DS workouts so far:
    Monday - Level 1 (because I would have died with level 2 after the weekend!)
    Tuesday - Level 2 
    Wednesday - Level 2
    Thursday - Planning on a rest day
    Friday - Planning Level 2
    Sat/Sun - 1 rest day/1 yoga day

    I don't think that I've really lost any weight, but I'm so much more toned! That was my goal, anyway. Jillian is one crazy lady, but she gets results!

  • I slacked last week but I'm still maintaining my weight loss, and am back on track in the gym so far this week. I'm shooting for 5 days this week, 5 next week, and 4 the week before I leave for vacation. Then I'll feel better about eating junk and drinking all the cocktails while I'm away. :P

  • I did 20 minutes of a yoga DVD last night.  I think I spent more time laughing than breathing correctly.  (See my confession.)
