Re: TGIF!

  • It's a mixed bag for me this weekend.

Tonight: Probably hanging out with my family before some of them go home tomorrow.

Tomorrow: Breakfast (I think) with my grandparents and parents, then a funeral service for a local Nestie that passed away earlier this week. As of right now, no plans for the evening, but I'm hoping DH & I can do something together.

Sunday: Cleaning the apartment, shopping, laundry.

    Married: 10/13/2013
    TTC #1: Mirena removed 5/26/2015; DH - normal SA, me - diagnosed with PCOS 8/4/2016 - on Metformin;
    BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017
  • I have a 4 day weekend.  Yesterday was by Birthday, so I took the day off, and figured, its pointless to go into work on a Friday!  =)

Today I am home, I should be cleaning but I think I will go to a local farm pick some fresh fruit, and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Saturday/Sunday, do some hiking, get back into our exercise routine.  And one of the days I'll visit my parents, and hang out with them a bit.

  • Everything seems so insignificant now :(

Tonight - making dinner then probably going for a swim. Try to de-stress a little after a ridiculous week.

Tomorrow - Not sure... maybe some pool time then cleaning the house. I'd like to finish getting through boxes in one of the bedrooms. I'm probably going to go meet my gma in the evening to make some muffins or something.

Sunday - going to church and then I'm not sure.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

    I feel the same way.

Our weekend will consist of painting Saturday and Sunday, with a break Saturday afternoon for a cousin's baby's christening party (which they're having the day before the christening, which seems bizarre to me).

Other than that, probably just taking care of some laundry and grocery shopping whenever DH isn't working.

  • Today - Hugging DH the minute he opens the door to his truck after work.
Otherwise - Taking a half day from work. Getting my eye brows waxed because they are BAD. Then hopefully getting the yard and house ready for tomorrow.

Tomorrow - Getting a hair cut then it's my 30th birthday party. I can't wait for the cake my SIL is making. I think it's going to be EPIC!

Sunday - Possibly going to visit DH's godfather. But it all depends if I'm up for it after a day of entertaining on Saturday and if we don't still have a whole yard and house to clean up.

*** Stuck in the Box ****

That.  I'm going to give H some extra hugs tonight.

Tonight:  H and FIL are working on the next remodel project.  So I will likely be cleaning or cooking as many things as I can with our gobs of zucchini from the garden.

Tomorrow: 3 mile run @6am, then possibly heading to the "city" to get some remodeling items and me some new running shoes. I'm super stoked to get new shoes.  It's like Christmas every 300 miles. :-)
Then we have an anniversary party for some family members and H's 10 year class reunion.  That part could be interesting.  He doesn't really talk to anyone anymore, and many of them haven't grown up and still spend their free time at the bar.

Sunday: Church then a family picnic.  H and FIL are working on the house again so I will find something else to do.

    This exactly.

DH actually took the weekend off (his off days are Wednesday and Thursday) so we'll get to spend some quality time together which is much needed. I've been exhausted and super pukey so I'm sure it will involve plenty of naps and light walks. We may have some friends over tomorrow and hopefully get the last few boxes unpacked and some more decorating done.

    *PR*

Monday is our first appointment at the OB. Part of the weekend will be spent talking myself down from my major anxiety about it.

    This.

Tonight DH & I have our weekly game night with friends.

Saturday, I have the day off and DH and I are going to the Renaissance Faire.  We usually go with a big group of friends, but this year for my birthday I asked if we could go once with just us.  So that will be nice.  They have some new activities I'm really interested in trying out.  We're going to skip dressing up this time and just do that when we go next time.

Sunday I just have a really short shift at work (3 hours) and then hopefully we'll go grocery shopping and I'll get some time to work on my freelance project.

@Sewilson33  That is a fun way to share your news.  You should take photos of their expressions when they read the shirt!

    @islandmonkey8  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Tonight--Going out with my family and DH to a local winery for dinner and drinks.

Tomorrow--Painting our family's farm house with paint brushes.  I add that because I think it is absolutely insane that we are painting an entire two story farm house with paint brushes.  Then, we get our niece and nephew for the rest of the day/evening.

Sunday--Setting up for a local fair and hopefully checking out new vehicles.  DH wants to trade in my car for an Explorer.

Give your loved ones an extra hug and have a fabulous weekend ladies!
