I may not be a shoe lover...

Book Spine heels
Here are some more

Re: I may not be a shoe lover...

  • This is why book art should be abolished.  Those shoes are just chunky, clod-stomping monstrosities.

Not all heels are closet-worthy.  I love my books and I love my heels, but I can not get on board with these.

  • Maybe it's just me, but I'm not crazy about them.

    But maybe it's just me.

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I think they'd be so much better without the platform.  I wouldn't mind them in a T-strap.

I like the concept of them. Heels themselves aren't my style.
  • I like them without the platform. And not on my feet. I'm with you, @fabk, heels and I don't mix. I love them on others.

  • If I wore those I'd end up tottering around and eventually falling on my face like those runway models from @jackiback's post last week.

  • I think they're cool but a bit much for me. I want the concept in a sexier style.

    I might wear these:

The pattern kind of reminds me of Chinese brocade.

But I think I'd still like them better either as solid red with the book-spine heel, or patterned with a plain heel. The combination feels a little too busy.
