Update on Fundraiser

We've raised $685! GP Facebook groups have also done their own fundraisers, so the total from GP-ers is higher.

Flowers are being delivered to the funeral home today.

Bruins is awesome (duh) and is going to attend the visitation. She'll give a giant hug from all of us.

If anyone has gift ideas, please feel free to message me or post here. I've pinned a few ideas that I'll share later but nothing seems perfect.

What about just giving her the cash? Visa giftcard? That way she could do what she needs with it?

And, thanks @bruinsbabe for "representing" us. I wish I was closer so I could hug her myself.

With respect to a gift, I don't have any great ideas, and I wouldn't be opposed to just giving all the money to Amanda.

I haven't been a member of the board for long, but maybe a combination of a couple things? a grocery store gift card (or visa gift card), an edible arrangement or some kind of fruit basket, and a picture frame maybe with an engraving or some kind of saying on it about eternal love?

Thank you so much @Iloveredvino for organizing all of this. Also, thank you @Bruinsbabe33 for going and being there for Amanda on behalf of all of us. I wish so badly that I could be there to hug her, cry with her and support her myself.

As for a gift idea, what about naming a star in honor of him with part of the money? I'm also not opposed to giving her whatever money is left in cash to use as she needs to/wants to.

Thank you, Bruins, for going tonight. Amanda and family have been on my mind all day. I like just giving the cash. Bills don't stop coming in when you lose someone, so having the extra cash on hand can help her take the time she needs before returning to work without having to worry about paying for the mortgage, electricity, water, etc.

That's the one set up by her real estate agent? If so, it's different than the GP one. But, all the money raised is for Amanda, so whether you give here or there, it's all good
