Errands then a nap this afternoon, breakfast for dinner tonight(my fave!).  Tomorrow is my little brother's bday (26!  My grandma asked how old he was turning and when he answered she said, "Oh that's just sinful"--lol) so we're taking him to lunch and maybe hanging out at my parent's pool with the family.

Sunday DH and I have a budget meeting (time to start saving for that house!) and meal prepping, Mass, and chores.

Last weekend I got two really good bike rides in, I'm hoping to do that again!

  • Nothing planned for today. J is super fussy. Tomorrow we have story time at the library and then a pool party to go to in the afternoon. Sunday H will finally be home and we will go to church and then lunch with friends.

  • Nothing, really. Tonight we have some errands to run. Tomorrow/Sun I have some cleaning to do. I'd also like to get a yoga workout in over the weekend.

    image
  • Today - heading to the pediatricians in a few for a weight check for T. Maybe going to a store after but nothing else planned for today.

Tomorrow - we are going to car dealership to hopefully getting H into a more economical car and discuss a slightly bigger car for me since our stroller doesn't fit in my car unless you take off the wheels lol. Probably stopping at the inlaws as well to meet my SIL new baby (the cousins are 2 weeks apart )!

Sunday - nada planned! Maybe start prepping more freezer meals to keep our supply big .

Trying not to plan to much since H went back to work this week, I want as much family time as possible without having plans.
  • Tonight, nothing. I'm pretty down today, so I just want to do nothing.

Tomorrow, maybe a baseball game or something for DH.

Sunday DH is golfing so I'm going to use a massage GC I got hopefully. Looking forward to that, and maybe some retail therapy decorating the house.

  • I stayed home today to work on the girls bday cake. Their bday party is tomorrow afternoon.  I'm making an Olaf cake, so we'll see how it comes out. Besides working on the cake, I'm gonna try to get a workout in (because I missed last nights), run some errands and later go to my aunts for swimming and grilling out.

Tomorrow, we just have the bday party.

Sunday,  brunch in the morning and then hopefully relaxing the rest of the

  • Today I went to the doctor.  He said he was surprised he didn't hear from me this week and the baby could come any time now.  Then I had to take my grandmother for a test, then we folded all the baby clothes that I washed this morning.  Relaxing for the rest of the day/night.

Tomorrow I think we're looking for a backsplash tile for our kitchen.  I don't think we have any other plans.

Sunday will probably relaxing and straightening up.

At some point I should pack my hospital bag.  H has been harassing me about it since our appointment last week.  I'm kind of holding off just to irritate him.  It's pretty funny when he asks me and I have another reason why it isn't packed yet.
  • @sjs1013 - MH wants mine packed next weekend (34 weeks). Lol I feel like rebelling like you!

  • @mana8503 34 weeks is early to pack a bag!  I didn't even have items, like pajamas, to put in my bag until this week!  I'm not super worried about packing because we live 5 minutes from the hospital.  If I forget something, H can come get it or someone can bring us things.  He's just a worrier.  Have fun rebelling!  It's pretty entertaining.
  • @mrshall1027 I can't wait to see the cake! Speaking of cakes, where in the world is @chasemamabear?!?!

Tonight we have no plans. I'm hoping H will call his dad and we can go to pizza with him. I'm hoping he'll want to since MIL and SIL are out of town.

Tomorrow - Headed to Nashville. Getting my nails done with my BFF, then tomorrow afternoon I'm doing her maternity pictures!! I can't wait. Sunday I'm going to her baby shower then headed home!!

  • today: I worked and then my mom came over for a few hours.

Saturday: working again.  I'm done at 5 so I doubt I will have a very productive evening at home

Sunday: maybe going for another hike with H

  • Today--I was actually surprisingly busy. I headed back early this morning to my hometown to get some stuff done (went to the vet to pick up ointment for my mouse, visited my parents and had breakfast with them, and picked up the first chunk of H's Christmas gift that I'm starting to plan early) Afterwards, I went to work. I'm just happy it wasn't too busy.

We just went for a small walk when I got home and got pizza from a shop that opened near our house. It was kind of nice. We've been a bit irked at them since they first opened because they have a drive thru setup...which we can hear from our house. H brought it up to them and we were informed that their staff had recently been encouraged to talk at a reasonable volume on the thing from now on. So, that worked out. I no longer have a bitter hatred for our new pizzeria neighbors.

Tomorrow--Only two things on the game plan for the day so far. I get to pop into work for a little bit (yay for getting paid an hour's wages for 5 minutes of work); Afterwards, H and I are going shopping. My youngest sister may be tagging along. I have yet to hear back if this is a definite or not.

Sunday--Probably getting some stuff done around the house and making sure I'm home for True Blood.

He's convinced I'm going to go into labor at 36 weeks or sooner. Sometimes I wanna smack him. He's decided because I'm a foot shorter than him our baby will out grow me. I don't really have anything to put in there but yoga pants and a robe. I should probably check out the lists I pinned. I'd rather get the nursery done and her clothes organized. If my mama can carry me at 4'10 and I was 8 lbs 6 oz, I can too!

  • @mana8503 you'll definitely be able to carry the baby.  I learned in child birth class that you will not grow a baby that your body cannot get out.  I am not 100% positive what to put in the bag also.  I have been looking at lists online and talking to friends about what they brought and used.
  • @sjs1013 - with GD I do have a higher probability of a huge baby. But right now she's only in the 60th percentile. Not too big. I get weekly US now to make sure.

@sjs1013‌ and @mana8503‌ - I packed around week 37 for the hospital and definitely over packed. Here's some suggestions of what you might need. Once I was allowed to shower I lived the next few days in nursing tanks and pj shirts or yoga pants. You will need slippers, you may want a bath robe (although I never used mine). I brought underwear but never used them because the hospital has these disposable ones they want you to wear. I had way more clothes with me but honestly only used the few items i mentioned.

You will need toiletries for showering, face wash, toothbrush/paste, etc. a few friends recommended something called Dermaplast,it's a spray to help with pain if you has vaginal delivery. I can't say if it's helpful since I wound up with c section but had it with me just in case.

Pack snacks! We had snacks for H to eat (in the hallway) while I was in labor and they were nice to have when I woke up at night and was hungry after baby was out. Don't forget drinks too!

Chargers for all you electronic devices! Bring pillows from home as well.

Hope this helps!! If I think of anything that was essential I will add it! We also live like 15 mins from hospital and H went home daily and was able to bring anything back but I honestly can't remember needing more then what I mentioned above.

Baby will need going home outfit. You may also want to bring wipes. Both hospitals near me do not supply you with wipes, they give you little towels you wet and throw away. And remember to install car seats soon so they are in and you don't have to worry about it being right.
  • I was so busy this weekend I haven't been online at all.  It was my county fair.  We had a ton of fun and I did really well at the show.
