I recall this being discussed before. Which ones have you ladies tried? I just made my first order. I'm scared I'm going to get addicted!

Re: Jamberry Nails

  • I've work siesta with haute pink accent and midnight celebration. I have a mint chevron to try, a skinny stripe pink, and some sample sheets. It was addicting and I do like them (I hosted an online party after being in an online party) but I can't get a perfect seal on them. So I end up with lifting edges that I spend the 10 days filing or clipping at until I hit a point where it's sealed. That's a user problem though.
Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!

  • They're super cute, but I haven't tried them because I'm afraid of getting addicted. Let us know how it goes! Preferably with pictures, especially the football ones. Those look awesome.

  • I love Jamberry Nails; I have a set on right now actually.  The first set took me almost an hour to put on but now that I've got the hang of it I usually only spend about 20 minutes putting a set on.  I've probably tried around 15 different ones.

I find that it is easier if you use a flat iron/straightener to heat the nail wraps rather than a blow dryer. Also, a trick I use to get them to stick better/have a better seal is to use a nail wrap that is a little bit smaller than your actual nail.  For me I've noticed that it's when the wraps touch the edges of my fingers that they pull up easier.  The tips might need trimmed after the first day or so, but usually after trimming once or twice they are perfect.

I can usually get two full manicures and then a few accent nails out of one sheet.  I've tried putting them on my toenails but getting them to be the right size for my toes just takes too much time so I stick to putting them on my fingernails.

  • They are so cute! Are they similar to the Sally Hansen ones sold at CVS? What makes them better then the SH ones?
  • @Aimothy‌ I love the chevron one!

  • I love them. I have a set on right now. I love the ones with some sort of metallic detail. No one does metallic like Jamberry.
